Love Letter Never Sent
So sad to love from afar and never tell her

Love Letter Never Sent
He wrote them in the quiet hours,
Ink smudged by a shaking hand,
Words of love he never sent,
Dreams too heavy to withstand.
Each letter folded, sealed with hope,
But never found a place to land,
Stacked like secrets on his shelf,
A silent, unread, drifting strand.
He was a man of shattered light,
Heart worn thin by silent pleas,
Loving loud but living quiet,
Lost between his memories.
The words stayed locked away,
A story only sorrow penned,
His love lived on in every line—
Letters he would never send.
Yet still, the ink refused to fade,
Though years had passed him by,
Each word a wound, each page a scar,
A whisper of a muted cry.
The letters waited, gathering dust,
Like ghosts upon the floor,
And he, a man with empty hands,
Kept writing ever more.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

It seems to be another poem of an unrequited love. Good job.
