how to look invisible

Is when you start making yourself very small when someone acts very big around you

The look of being invisible is the feeling of very small

As every very soft touch tends to erase a very hard punch

And a kiss tries not to become a cut that scars over and heals

When the bigness takes over, the bigness of their loudness over your benign softness that squishes your trachea into something that sounds distorted

It’s almost like you’ve been exposed to the atoms of the universe as they gleam over you

Your shininess duller as it becomes very small as it impedes on the big and the loud and the ferociousness of their own

Pigotry

Eating your share, shoving you aside

Your protests marked as traps, a traitor only argues for human rights

A traitor only wants to divide & conquer

Not sit side by side as equals

How does a rat know how to be an equal when it waits for scraps and bites of leftovers to be sustained?

Like a sting in the wind, your equilibrium shoved into the climbing terrain of smallness like it was nothing at all

The cold sting that feels like a lightning strike in a crackling cold wind

You feel the sharp, devastating sting ring inside of you as a swirling tornado

but,

it effects no one else and nothing else

You always know how to make yourself very small

Bundled inside too many covers as the belt cracked against your skull

Very small,

The feeling of invisible

The lightness is as unbearable as its unique heaviness

A ghost carrying heavy rocks

Becoming the heavy as all the noise, alarms, screams, yells hits that knock you down

Blurring the smallness into shame

So very small

As small as you really are

As small as we are.
