Love Letter

As I am writing you this letter, I pretend that you are mine, that our hearts belong together and our souls are intertwined. The innocence of giving what no other could acquire. Filling my being with a passion for the one that I desire

Doomed to love a lover, under the midnight clouds below. I’m caught up in the rapture, as I bask here, in your glow. Tell me, how could I concede to love another, in this world, where would I go, to replicate this powerful magnetic pull we’ve come to know.

I grapple for the words to demonstrate the heart in me. What I would give for you to comprehend the magic of my raging sea. The vastness of my yearning to gravitate inside your orbit. Any other love would, to my heart, naught be but counterfeit.

So, until the spell is broken and I’m free to soar in your atmosphere. I will settle for these moments, lovingly holding you from here.
