Love is the Rainbow and the Rain
Love is insanity driven sane
How easy it was to touch the sky. Kissing you for the first time.
Your touch made me fly, but your love was a disguise.
I took you at your word. Words twisted in lies.
How easy it was to touch the sky, then leave me here to die.
Caught in between who I am and who you want me to be.
Searching for a drop of water in a dried up sea.
So much to say, but there are no words.
Would they even be heard?
Is this a lesson learned?
How easy it was to fly. Falling is the hard part.
How easy it is to die. Living is an art.
It's a beautiful tragedy. A sorrowful melody.
To live is to transform cacophony into a song.
To turn gibberish into a poem.
To find the light in the darkness.
To love through the pain.
Living is insanity driven sane.
Life is the rainbow and the rain.
