Love is like a fire

Love poem

By Distinguished Honorary Alumni Dr. Matthew PrimousPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

I tell you love is like a fire

like a fire

Not cooled like a wind

Not calm like a breeze

But love is like a fire

You can catch it

You can breathe it

You can feel it

You can see it

Hey watch it burn

burn all over

burn all in

burn all out

Yes love is like a fire

sweet love is like a fire

it keeps on burning

it keeps on preserving

it keeps on sustaining

though you try to hide it

it gots to be known

though you try to protect it

it gots to be seen

though you try to maintain it

it gots to be more

Cause love child love is like a fire
