Angry on the Couch by Judah LoVato
Exhaustion tore through one afternoon
The gravity of the couch
Pulled me deep into cushions
As though to hold together
Pieces of my Self
Which life’s winds shook loose
and made to rattle,
Sounding like harsh words
And anger
Which you hope to soothe with tea
For love is kind
About the Creator
Judah LoVato
My collection of sometimes decent writing
Which I've left "there" for seekers to seek
Though I lack the grandeur of that Pirate King
Perhaps these pebbles can be a light
In this life, this laughing tale

Beautiful, deeply feeling work, Judah!
Beautifully eloquent… I especially like: “ As though to hold together Pieces of my Self Which life’s winds shook loose and made to rattle,”✅
This poem is beautifully written. The gentle turn to tea and love as a soothing balm – it's a perfect expression of comfort and care. "For love is kind" – such a simple yet profound statement. This piece is both moving and beautifully crafted.👍✨
