🎾 Love in the Key of Offbeat đŸŽ¶

When Every Note is Wrong, But Feels So Right

By Tale WeaverPublished 10 months ago ‱ 1 min read

Our love’s like a guitar that’s way out of tune,

Strumming disaster from midnight to noon.

The chords are all twisted, the frets out of place,

Yet somehow, we play with impeccable grace.

_ _ _

Your laughter’s a high note that squeaks when it sings,

My jokes are like broken, uncooperative strings.

We fumble, we bumble, we crash and we burn,

Yet still, we keep playing—no lessons to learn.

_ _ _

You hum like a kettle that’s ready to burst,

I try to harmonize—somehow, it gets worse.

We dance out of rhythm, we miss every cue,

But love’s not perfection—it’s making it through.

_ _ _

A symphony? Hardly! More clanking and clatter,

But music’s not perfect—it’s heart that should matter!

So let’s keep on strumming, off-key but together,

Our love’s greatest hit—imperfect forever. đŸŽ¶đŸ’–

Oh so romantic! I love your poem especially this line: "But love’s not perfection—it’s making it through." The reality is there's no perfect love, it's making it perfect for the couple. thanks for sharing~
