Love in Chains

A Tale of Heartbreak and Regret

By ik dogenPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Two hearts once beat as one,

A love so bright, it outshone the sun.

But somewhere along the way,

Their love began to fray.

The passion they shared,

Became a burden they bared.

Each kiss felt like a chore,

Their love, it was no more.

They tried to rekindle the flame,

But it was like playing a losing game.

Their love had been put in chains,

It was something they couldn't change.

Tears filled their eyes,

As they said their goodbyes.

The love that was once so strong,

Had been broken for too long.

Now they walk alone,

With hearts heavy as stone.

Their love was something rare,

But now, it's just a memory they must bear.

Love in chains, it's a tragic thing,

When two hearts are no longer in sync.

Regret lingers, as they move on,

Wondering where their love went wrong.
