love

is death

By Sara Published 4 months ago 1 min read

your mouth, full of pearls

drips into my lips

that never part -

only smile

my cheeks bulge

with stones

that will close my throat

if i swallow

(my breath is a death rattle)

all the nights

i asked the moon

to send you to me

taunt my writhing limbs

you are mine

for now

and all i think about

is that now will pass

(forever is a death wish)

the ocean gives,

she takes

in the end

fate collects the souls

if i want to keep yours

i must become death

me, pressed into you,

suffocating.

it won’t hurt.

i’ll already be gone.

heartbreak
