There's no such thing as regret in love, only cherishing it or not cherishing it. Those who don't know how to cherish you have no regrets at all. There are no missed opportunities in love, only missed opportunities in general.

Those who truly love you will find a way to find you, no matter how far away they are. He has never hidden his selfishness or cruelty. Stop making excuses for him. His problems are always the same; what's different are just the reasons you keep trying to convince yourself.

What you're looking for is a secure relationship. Be certain that he, like you, is working hard for this love. You would rather suffer a moment of heartbreak than be in a lifelong relationship full of resentment. A true ending is necessary before a new beginning can occur. You must leave unhappiness behind before you can find true happiness.
