Love and Revolution

The dignity that endures, even to the gallows

By Farhan UllahPublished 8 months ago 1 min read
Bound by Love, Freed by Revolution

When have you not been with me in memory? When has your hand not been in mine?

A hundred times thanks, that in my nights now, there is no night of separation.

If the circumstances there are difficult — then offer your hearts, offer your lives.

O people of heart! Haven’t there been such times in love before?

The grace with which one walks to the gallows — that dignity lives on forever

This life is fleeting anyway; this life itself is not the real matter.

The field of loyalty is not a royal court; here, lineage and titles hold no sway.

A lover bears no specific name; love is not confined to any one identity.

If this is the game of love, then stake whatever you desire — why fear?

If you win, what could be better; even in loss, the game isn't truly lost
