"Hey Jake, it's Ronnie," he said when his friend answered. "I need a favor. A huge one." After explaining the situation, Jake agreed to fly him to Paris. "You're insane, you know that?"

Jake said, laughing. "But I get it. Love makes you do crazy things." Two days later, Ronnie found himself on a tiny plane, flying across the Atlantic.

The journey was long and nerve-wracking, but all he could think about was seeing Casey again, about finally telling her the truth.

When they landed in Paris, it was early morning. The city was just waking up, and Ronnie felt a surge of hope.
