Louder but unheard

Introspection

By Dr. EldyPublished 2 years ago 1 min read
Around her, transparent, ghost-like echoes of her words and emotions float, indicating her attempts to reach out and the lack of response.

Louder but Unheard

I forgive your unresponsive ways,

How my cries, like unseen ghosts, strayed.

I've questioned my presence,

Visible, yet unacknowledged—

As if my soul lacks essence.

Do you perceive me in the flow,

Or sense my shadow's faint glow?

Heart open, incognito,

I've shouted in my mind's echo.

Yet, in your silence, I find a clue,

Forgiving, for how could you have heard?
