Just A Lottery Winner
I know a man who won the prize,
Sixteen million, a grand surprise.
In shining lights, he found his place,
Surrounded by smiles, he embraced the space.
With open arms, new friends appeared,
All eager to share in the fortune he steered.
Laughter and parties, good times to share,
In the glow of wealth, they danced without care.
But as the numbers slowly fell,
The tides of fortune rang a different bell.
When pockets grew light and bills piled high,
The friends slipped away like clouds in the sky.
Now in quiet moments, he looks back in thought,
A lesson in friendship, a wisdom once sought.
For money can vanish, like whispers in air,
But true bonds of kindness will ever be rare.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
