Dear Cherished Reader

Dear Readers

I extend my heartfelt gratitude for choosing to immerse yourself in my work. Your presence brings warmth to my soul on days when shadows linger, illuminating my stories with your appreciation.

Thank you for carving out precious moments from your busy life to offer your insights—guiding me with your thoughts on what resonates and what may need a delicate touch. Your encouragement lifts my spirits when doubt creeps in, refilling my creative well in times of perceived drought.

I hold dear the community we’ve built together, and I honor you, a magnificent soul who champions creativity even amidst life’s whirlwinds. I recognize the many calls on your time, yet you have graciously chosen to spend a part of it with my tales.

There are times when I question the merit of my words, only to find solace in your reflections; a reminder that my thoughts hold value. Conversely, there are moments when I view my creations as masterpieces, yet you kindly steer me toward the necessary refinements. In every instance, your feedback means more than I can express, nurturing my growth as a writer.

Like many dreamers before me, I aspire to touch lives through my craft, hoping to one day find success in the form of livelihood. Yet, I’ve come to understand that the act of writing itself is a reward beyond measure—and you, dear reader, deserve my sincerest thanks for that revelation. It’s become clear that fulfillment doesn’t solely lie in financial gain but also in the myriad ways my words connect with your heart.

Each piece of poetry I pen is a reflection of both my deepest feelings and my wildest imagination. It acts as a bridge, connecting my inner world to yours, where emotions intertwine and stories unfold. However, I ask this of you: unless I explicitly state that a poem is a true story, please refrain from assuming it’s about my life. Each poem is a tapestry of inspiration, woven from threads of experiences, dreams, and the essence of human emotion.

I genuinely value your support—be it through reading, liking, commenting, or even contributing through tips. Each gesture brightens my days like a ray of sunlight on a cloudy morning.

As I wander through this journey, I remind myself that I am not solitary in my endeavor; I am joined by kindred spirits like you who understand the yearning for connection and recognition. As I pause to express gratitude for everyone who walks alongside me, I realize how profoundly different my experience would be without your engagement.

Simply knowing that there’s a response waiting for my words ignites my excitement each day—I wake with a burning desire to create, often having to rein in my passion to avoid losing myself in the stories I long to tell. And for that, I owe you my deepest thanks.

As a reader, you transport me to enchanting worlds, filling my heart with vitality. As a writer, I strive to weave experiences that captivate and inspire, seeking to engage you on every level. Each step of this wondrous journey has been so deeply rewarding, and I eagerly anticipate sharing more tales with you, along with my quest to refine my craft.

With all my appreciation,

Thanks for the warm welcome. Since loosing my daughter and wife in 2019, writing poems has been my way of processing grief. Your writing feels very personal, and I really admire how genuine you are, especially in a world where everyone seems pressured to conform. I’m originally from Georgia—where are you from?

Hey There "Georgy Girl"- 60ish Schtick - Sorry since you're from the U.K. you've probably heard that a lot. I'm flattered that you've 'Subscribed' to me; as I have you. But, it doesn't say 'Why' or what you may have read? The only poem I've ever written was 'The Llama & Koala' that I revised from a poem I wrote in high school. May I introduce myself - I so love to hear from so many within our Vocal community from across the pond: I'm Jay, a retired legal professional, morphed into a Silly Storyteller and Goofy sketch artist leading into my (3) minute Shorts - not into contests - just fun for me at this stage. - With Respect - Jay Kantor, Chatsworth, California 'Senior' Vocal Author - Vocal Village Community -

Beautiful words can only come from an artist who is not only a poet , but who has the brush that transforms his words into sensual images that the reader embodies so that he can drink from its pure spring .
