Lost

In the depths of memory's hidden cove,

I sail the seas of time to find my love.

A long-lost flame, a cherished reverie,

In my heart's album, your face I see.

Through the mist of years, your smile does gleam,

A distant star, a part of my dream.

In the garden of youth, our love did bloom,

Now in the past's shadows, it finds its tomb.

Your laughter, like a songbird's sweet refrain,

Echoes in my mind, causing joy and pain.

Oh, how I long to touch your gentle hand,

To walk once more upon love's golden sand.

But fate has scattered us to different shores,

And life's relentless waves, it still explores.

Yet, in my heart, your love forever stays,

A timeless ember in the twilight's haze.

Though distance separates our souls tonight,

In dreams, we'll meet beneath the starry light.

For in this poem, my love, I'll always find,

A testament to a love, once intertwined.
