Lost in the Memory of You

Once you and I loved a memory ago

Lost in the Memory of You

Shadows drift along empty walls

I trace your smile in fading photographs

Each room holds a pulse of your laughter

Ghosts of your touch linger in silence

Night steals the edge of my dreams

I wake with your name on my lips

Your absence blooms into every moment

And I wander through what was

Time curves around your recollection

Light through curtains warms the floor

I reach for echoes drifting through halls

Hoping to find you in the still air

I am lost in the shape of your smile

Tangled in moments we cannot reclaim

Love stretches beyond reason’s reach

Waiting to find you again as home
