Lost in the Labyrinth of Self

I am but a wanderer, adrift in my own skin

By Luna WritePublished 3 years ago β€’ 1 min read

In the labyrinth of my soul, I wander lost,

A fragile vessel on a turbulent sea tossed.

I search for meaning amidst the chaos within,

But find only echoes of a fragmented origin.

The mirror reflects a face unknown,

A stranger's eyes where my own should have shone.

Aching depths conceal the essence of me,

An enigma wrapped in uncertainty.

I yearn to find the path that leads me home,

To embrace the truth, no longer to roam.

But the compass of my heart spins astray,

As whispers of doubt lead my steps astray.

I am but a wanderer, adrift in my own skin,

Seeking solace in a world I can't comprehend.

The pieces of my being scatter like grains of sand,

Lost within the vastness of an untamed land.

Yet deep within this labyrinth's embrace,

A flicker of hope, a whisper of grace.

For in the shadows, I'll learn to rise,

To navigate the darkness, unveil the guise.

Through fractured fragments, I'll piece me anew,

Discover the strength that has long been due.

In the labyrinth of my soul, a journey unfurls,

A quest for truth amidst a myriad of swirling worlds.

With courage as my compass, I'll traverse the unknown,

Embracing the depths where my essence is sown.

And though I may falter, and moments despair,

I'll find my way back, to my own soul repair.

For in this labyrinth of self, I'll eventually find,

The light that illuminates, the essence divine.

In the depths of the unknown, I'll discover my art,

And embrace the beauty of a lost, found heart.
