n twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A relic lay, forgotten, far away,
A token of a love that once did shine,
A symbol of memories, now divine.

A silver locket, with a heart so fine,
Once held within it, a love so true and mine,
A promise made, a vow to keep,
A bond that strengthened, as the years did creep.

It slipped from fingers, lost in time,
Forgotten in the dusty rhyme,
Of years gone by, of laughter and of tears,
Of whispers sweet, of joy and fears.

But now, the winds of fate do blow,
And bring it back, to eyes that glow,
With recognition, with a spark of light,
As memories rush forth, like a midnight flight.

The touch of cool metal on her skin,
Awakens emotions long since locked within,
The scent of perfume, the feel of warmth,
The echo of a love that left its mark.

She holds it close, with tears of old,
As fragments of memories unfold,
The laughter, the whispers, the tears and sighs,
The moments shared, beneath sun-kissed skies.

The locket's lid creaks open wide,
Revealing the photograph inside,
A snapshot of a love so pure and true,
A reminder of vows made anew.

The heart beats fast, the soul takes flight,
As the past awakens, in all its light,
The memories flood back, like a stormy sea,
And she is flooded with emotions wild and free.

Oh, locket dear, you've come to stay,
And bring back memories that never fade away,
You're a reminder of love's sweet refrain,
And the power it holds to rekindle and sustain.

In your curves and lines, I see his face,
And in your heart-shaped center, our love's sacred space,
You're a symbol of what we once shared,
A reminder that love can never be impaired.

So hold me close, dear locket dear,
And let our story unfold, year by year,
For in your silver heart, I find my own,
A love that's timeless, forever to benow
