I grieve the loss of you
even though I was the one
who let you go
Grieve you as if you aren't around
as if the loss of you was sudden
but we both know that's not true
That doesn’t mean
I miss you
or want to be with you
or regret leaving
It just means
that I miss who we were
when we were together
Even though the loss of you
lead me to where I am now
I still grieve those moments
now just memories
forever stuck in my head
