Lord, Keep Thy Promise

Oh, Lord, can you hear my cry and plea?

Keep thy promise and don't forsake me.

Let my children, I pray to thee,

Surrender their lives and to the cross to cling.

Be near now, Oh Lord, to them,

And give mercy and do not condemn.

Be near and help me see,

Thy salvation so rich and free.

When I need you, Lord, hear my plea.

Help me fight down on my knees

As I go on about my day,

Remind me you are with me to stay.

As I lay my head down to rest,

Forgive me my trespasses, for I have done my best.
