Looking for a place to be sprouted

I am a seed.
Though I've never been planted.
I remain in the wind, always in search of a place to harvest.
No roots to keep me grounded.
I let the wind carry me wherever it may be
I become restless
The search seems to be useless
But it is when I'm in the palms of children laughing
And women smiling
Soil becomes welcoming
And the sun warms my heart
And my roots begin to sprout
And I think this is where I'm meant to be planted.
