Look of Love

When the Mirror Lies

By A. J. SchoenfeldPublished 11 months ago 1 min read
The Way He Looks At Me

Mirror, mirror on the wall

You dare show me this?

Wrinkles by my eyes

Extra curvy hips

No way I'm

This old and plump

I should be sexy

Not a frump

Then he looks my way

In his eyes I see

The fairest in all the land

Is still me

Oh, I love this!! I related quite a bit. It's a beautiful thing to have someone see us as beautiful inside and out when we tend to get focused on what we perceive as our own flaws!
