waiting for a day to be brought out into the air

held by warm hands again

there are sharp things and papers

be careful about the papers

sometimes thoughts stay folded just wanting to jump

oh for a piece of string

a pipecleaner was lost

should throw that old tablet out

but maybe look it up first just to see

then look it down

perhaps a dumping and a sorting is what's needed

a nice wipe with the lemon scented

and some thick white paper towels laid down

a sweet arrangement made

paper things clipped and folded neatly in a corner

the matchbox cars and spiderman suction guy cohabitating nicely

all good intentions the sewing needles need buying never again

and embroidery threads are an absolute necessity

there are puppets to be made

so keep the sticks

and guard your hands well

their faces are awaiting your paints
