Longing On My Journey.
"Chronicles Of A Wanderer."

1/
In the heart of the pale night
You emerge as a poem within my blood
For there is nothing more alive
Than longing on my journey
2/
Before I close my eyes
I spell out the faint flicker of stars.
When the pre-dawn rain
intensifies the darkness
It is the place where the prayers
of all who long
are finally laid to rest.
Flickering stars
like the eyes of dream guardians in a quiet earth.
When everyone has fallen asleep in my town.
For tomorrow morning there will be a thousand plans that are no more meaningful than one reality in front of open eyes but forgotten.
3/
Your thick hair, like
a torrential rain in the drought of my yearning,
brings a cooling breeze
wrapped in winter’s embrace.
And with every strand you carry
the scent of Khuld (Tree of Immortality).
For your return (Eve)
to Adam’s primeval chest
in the core of my heart.
