Longing For Him

Him Him Him and Him

In twilight's hush, where shadows dance and play,

I wander lost, my heart in disarray.

The sun sets low, the day fades away,

Leaving me alone, with naught but tears to say.

My thoughts consume me, like a raging sea,

Longing for him, my heart's only key.

In dreams, I see him, bright and bold,

But when I wake, he's gone, my heart cold.

The wind whispers secrets, of a love so true,

But without him, my heart is blue.

The stars shine bright, but they can't compare,

To the light in his eyes, so warm and fair.

The world may be full of beauty and grace,

But without him, it's just a empty space.

My heart aches, my soul feels the weight,

Of his absence, a constant, gnawing fate.

So I'll hold on to memories, so dear,

Of laughter shared, and tears wiped dry.

For though he's gone, my heart still sings,

A melody of love, that will never die.
