Your gaze, a spark that lit my soul,
A fleeting glance that made me whole.
In crowded rooms, where time stood still,
Your eyes spoke words my heart could feel.
The world dissolved, it was just we,
Two strangers bound by destiny.
That single look, a fateful thread,
Now lingers softly in my head.
And though the years may come and go,
The fire you lit will always glow.
For in your eyes, I still can see,
The love that binds you close to me.
About the Creator
George Makori
I am a poet who finds inspiration in the quiet moments of life and the chaos in between. My words explore love, identity, and the intricate beauty of human emotions. Through my poetry, I aim to capture fleeting truths, weaving them.
