Lonely Wolf

A song I wrote when I was feeling more alone than usual

By Amari SimonePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

You can see the moon when the sun goes down

Watching it alone in a quiet town

Head filled with thoughts only ghost around

try to be happy still wear a frown

Why am I

still stressing out

Path still lonely

change my route

Maybe I'm tripping

help me out

When I'm sober

death feels closer

Tryna feel human

I’m such a poser

hardly eating

clothes getting looser

whats wrong with that

when the world doesnt have your back

You can see the moon when the sun goes down

Watching it alone in a quiet town

Head filled with thoughts only ghost around

try to be happy still wear a frown

Not the same person when the lights are down

Me, Myself, and I even in a big crowd

No one even cares what path i stray

No one ever cares what I have to say

I gotta be solo

do this shit dolo

People act like friends when they really are woes

All just for show

NO support when I am low

Try to be patient

but my soul is ancient

My life feels vacant

mental enslavement

is it worth that

when the world doesnt have your back

You can see the moon when the sun goes down

Watching it alone in a quiet town

Head filled with thoughts only ghost around

try to be happy still wear a frown

Not the same person when the lights are down

Me, Myself, and I even in a big crowd

No one even cares what path i stray

No one ever cares what i have to say
