Lonely Road

A Walk Through Silence

By ShashnaPublished about a year ago 1 min read

There’s a path I tread alone,

A journey where I'm unknown.

No guiding light, no friendly face,

Just echoes in the night’s embrace.

In this lonely, silent land,

I search for where I stand.

No voice to soothe, no hand to guide,

Just the weight I hold inside.

Yet in this solitude, I find,

A peace that soothes my mind.

A chance to face my hidden fears,

And draw strength from all my tears.

The stars above, they seem so far,

But they remind me who we are.

We all have roads we walk alone,

To find the place we call our own.

So I’ll walk this path, heart ablaze,

And rise anew in brighter days.

For in this journey, though I roam,

I know I'll find my way back home.
