I didn't realize they'd change.
I had no idea the tables were about to turn.
I trusted all of them wholeheartedly.
They were my shoulders to cry on.
It was amusing to watch how they transformed.
They let me down, which made me sad.
All those cheerful smiles were turned away.
They all gave me a gloomy frown.
I searched everywhere.
I was looking for someone who cares.
If someone still adores me,
Anyone who still thinks about me.
Loneliness landed on my head.
I was hurt.
It broke my heart.
I was left feeling hollow
I felt the void.
It halted my progress.
I cried silently overnight.
I clutched my pillow tightly.
I was longing to be close to someone.
Someone I can trust to share my thoughts with.
