Living fully

A poem

By Benjamin Alexander HousePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

When you live fully, expect to gain a lot and a bit;

Accept things as they are , and when to throw a fit.

Life is a unique opportunity; don’t believe you have immunity.

No one can live your life for you or allow complete impunity.

A voice of doubt wars on the voice of belief;

This opportunity called living, oh so brief.

Question as you might, pry, spy, and try

Some questions might never be answered, till the day you die.

Don’t be afraid of what lies beyond the bend.

Keep in mind how quickly it all could end.
