Live Life Like It's Short

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 2 months ago 1 min read

Verse 1:

The sun peeks over the horizon, a brand-new day begins,

With every breath that fills my lungs, I’ll let the joy in.

I’ll chase the sweet moments, dance under the stars,

Embrace every second, no matter where we are.

Chorus:

Life is short, so kiss me slow,

Let the world fade away, let the feelings grow.

Laugh insanely, let the giggles fly,

In the arms of love, we’ll reach for the sky.

Verse 2:

Through the storms and the sunshine, we’ll weather it all,

With love’s gentle whispers, we’ll never let it fall.

Forgive quickly, let go of the pain,

In the garden of our hearts, only kindness remains.

Chorus:

Life is short, so kiss me slow,

Let the world fade away, let the feelings grow.

Laugh insanely, let the giggles fly,

In the arms of love, we’ll reach for the sky.

Bridge:

When the road gets rough, and tears start to fall,

I’ll hold you tighter through it all.

We’ll write our stories, page by page,

With laughter as our ink, we’ll break free from the cage.

Verse 3:

So let’s savor the moments, let’s make memories bright,

In the dance of our lives, let’s hold on so tight.

With every kiss, every laugh, our spirits will soar,

For love is the treasure that we’re living for.

Chorus:

Life is short, so kiss me slow,

Let the world fade away, let the feelings grow.

Laugh insanely, let the giggles fly,

In the arms of love, we’ll reach for the sky.

Outro:

So here’s to the journey, as we take each stride,

With love in our hearts, let’s enjoy the ride.

For life is a canvas, let’s paint it with glee,

In this beautiful moment, just you and me.
