Little Tingles Everywhere
An across the room poem

Two souls
Mingling amongst a party crowd
Free as breezes on a country road
Smiling, chatting with friends
Yet lonely, searching
*
Eyes meet
Warm sensations arise
Like rain on calm water
Little tingles
On arms
*
Approaches begin slowly
Heat rising
Like warm waves tickling the shorelines
Little tingles
Down spines
*
Contact made -
Smiling, conversing, touching
Steam building
Like waves crashing
Little tingles
Down legs
*
Promises of further contact
Whispered
Conducting explosive heat
Like hurricanes brewing
Little tingles everywhere
*
Passion abating
Smiles lingering
Fond touches continue
Temperatures regulating
Like water clinging to beach sand
Thirsting for fresh tingles
