From the heart to a dream.

Little things can be the hardest to see.
Blinded by emotions,
Hindered by routine.
Beauty becomes lost in all things unseen.
A break in the clouds, sun rays pouring down.
May the Light of Nature shine my crown!
Tint my eyes with the laughter of a clown,
So my lips turn up, not upside down.
A stranger's smile that stays with me for miles.
Kind eyes with an intent to beguile,
Dreams evoked of walking down the aisle,
Even though marriage is not my style!
A 'Thank you' coming direct from the heart,
Warms my chest, gives my pulse a jump start.
True honesty sets emotions apart.
Appreciation turned into art!
Simplicity of life,
Honesty without strife.
Those are the little things that make me smile.
It's the little things that make life worthwhile.
