Little One

The fire you need, Lies right within you.

By Jessie WaddellPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

My dear little one,

Don’t ever change,

When you feel you must,

Because we’re not the same.

You see little one,

You were born to be you,

The ultimate gift,

To have a north that’s true.

You’ll hear little one,

That you need to stop,

Your opinion too loud,

Too over the top.

Be free little one,

There’s nothing to fear,

Already behind the wheel,

You need only steer.

And so little one,

When it all seems too much,

When the voices grow loud,

And so out of touch.

Feel safe little one,

You know what to do,

The fire you need,

Lies right within you.
