Little Me, Not Yet An Adult.
Please Don't Feel Ashamed Of Yourself
Little me, not yet an adult;
The little woman who still wears her
makeup like a teenager,
Little me,
Who still sings and dances like a
youth,
Who still dresses like she is eighteen year's
old,
And;
Has more teddy bears than a woman
in her late forties, could count,
Little me;
Who still talks like she is young,
Has the tantrums of a child,
Still chews bubblegum,
Sings her songs without being heard,
And spends all of her time reading and listening
to music,
Little me;
Who people complain about,
Because when she speaks,
She sounds immature,
And still parties like the young girl in a
Teenscene nightclub,
Little me;
Who ached for big dreams,
Who wanted to steal the stage,
Who wanted her spotlight,
Where her sweet melodies should have been,
But never got the chance to build her singing career during
those young days, like those other singers did,
Little me;
Who still wears her hair like a child,
Likes to wear t-shirts of her favourite singers,
Prefers younger company because she can't relate to people
her own age,
Little me, not yet an adult;
Please don't feel ashamed of yourself,
You were trapped in a young world where you weren't
allowed to grow, or changed,
Only abuse ruled your young life,
You were treated like a dropout,
Locked in the shadows of youth,
You never got the chance to grow into the young, beautiful
woman, you should have become.
Little me, not yet an adult;
The little woman who always remains young,
in physical appearance and mental age,
Keep up with your singing,
Love the things you do,
Embrace your looks,
Because,
Little me, not yet an adult, is perfect just the way
she is.
