Little Lights
A Poem Celebrating the Wonder of Children
By Gabriela TonePublished 9 months ago • 1 min read

Little Lights
Tiny feet that chase the sun,
Laughter spills and wild hearts run.
Eyes like stars, so wide and bright,
Filling days with purest light.
Questions bloom like springtime flowers,
Endless thoughts in endless hours.
Sticky hands and messy grace,
Wonder painted on each face.
They dream in colors we forget,
No past to mourn, no deep regret.
With every fall, they rise anew,
Teaching us what's real and true.
In every giggle, every cry,
A spark of magic rushing by.
