Little Color

Exploring the Wonder and Beauty of Smallest Things

By Gala JoyPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Once upon a time, in a land far away,
There lived a little color, quiet and gray.
Not bold like red, nor bright like yellow,
Little color was often considered mellow.

But little color was no less important,
For without it, the world would be quite dormant.
It added depth to blues, and shading to greens,
And gave orange and pink a subdued sheen.

At times, it felt overshadowed by peers,
But little color strove to conquer its fears.
It learned to be confident, and to own its hue,
And slowly, the world saw it in a different view.

Little color became a symbol of grace,
A quiet strength in a fast-paced race.
It was the shadow behind every ray of light,
A gentle comfort in the darkest of night.

And so, little color became a hero,
A symbol of hope, a peaceful glow.
It taught us to appreciate the subtle tones,
And to see beauty in the understated alone.

In every painting, and in every design,
Little color added a touch of divine.
With every stroke, and every brush,
It made the creation come alive with a hush.

And so, dear little color, thank you,
For reminding us of the beauty in all hues.
We will celebrate you, forevermore,
As a hero, a symbol, in our hearts and core.
