Lip service is disservice,
passive, dishonest disrespect,
an unspoken assertion:
Not worth truth, time, or trouble,
trust tossed in a blind game of keepaway.
Doesn’t matter if it shatters,
they’ll just grab someone else’s
and continue the game.
