Limericks: Depressed firetruck, headless legs and more…
When irony meets the laughing cheeks.

The firetruck called alumi- man, set it itself on fire
Tired and depressed running errands on its tyre
Defeat in his smile
His feelings in a pile
Through the same station, a call defied the pyre
*
An alcohol called bottle
New years party: he got throttled
Trauma came to sit that day
Memories began to fade
His hourglass ex said, it wasn’t really a squabble
*
A pair of legs called tragic
Went on a headless walk of magic
He came across a gate with locks
Lucky he wasn't wearing a frock
He jumped the thing, so it became climactic!
*
There was a puzzle coined eraser in a joblot
His fear of heights got braver, like Ferdinand the yacht
His parents threw him out
He tried to erase the pout
Soon he took the highest feat, as a high paying pilot!

The image alone made me smile. And then, yes, your poem made me laugh! I appreciate it. This is when I loathe that Vocal doesn't have a "Hilarious" insight. ⚡💙 Bill ⚡
The headless walk sounds like me. :D I love the image.
Creative you are and that image the straight and humorous.
I started laughing early, Caitlin, at Author prompts AI vomits! Grandly weird, silly and hilarious!
That’s a really creative piece. I like how it mixes playfulness with deeper feelings; it has a quirky rhythm but also a touch of emotion underneath.
I love how quirky and imaginative this is. Thanks for putting a smile on my face today :-)
Loved them Caitlin, ands yes they made me smile. Thank you
Hahahahahahahahahaha the tragic legs went on a headless walk, that was my favourite! Loved all your limericks!
Great job, I invite you to read my poems.
Not to say I did…but had I been high on mushrooms this would have been one heck of a trip. This is has my mind reeling, laughing, wondering, questioning. And other ings. The rhyming pattern flows beautifully.
You took me on a wild ride with these, never knowing what to expect next...lol
Bag-haha! I want whatever it is that sparked this: roaring with laughter.
What did happen to his piloting endeavours, though? Hope he flew safely out there! And yes, the laugh was gotten!! Well-gotten!
It's a mad mix of psychotic humour with swagger. Love it!
