I wanna be like other girls

With beautiful nails and big bouncing curls.

With tight pores and flat tummies

Yes I want to be like other girls.

I want to be like other girls.

Less shy and able to just say hi.

Be less afraid of complements and perfection.

Oh how I wish I was like other girls.

But I also wanna be like other people

Proud and happy with my features

With strong big groups of friends

And tight knit circles

If I could steal their confidence…

I’d be like other girls

Do my nails and love my skin.

Ask a girl out to coffee…

And take a boy out to watch the stars..

I’d talk and make some real good friends

Though I’ll say I have a few.

But in my heart I do know

That I’ll always want to be like other girls…
