Light work
Here lies simplicity. May we all exist more lightly.
I think that what artists, writers, poets do,
when they take that thing -
that thing that’s been stuck in your throat
that hum with no words that’s been stuck in your head
That old thing that needed to be made new,
and they wrap it up in something warm -
their perspective -
What they really say is:
Here lies simplicity.
May we all exist more lightly.
