Out of the prism of life
springs forth the
light of humanity
we bathe in the celestial truth
that we all came from
one source
yet we are all
a perfectly formed
spectrum of
dancing light
the wavelengths
ebb and flow
sending us up and
down the
flowing chutes
of flashing harmony
🦋⃤♡⃤🌈⃤
All the sounds
currently emanating
from the vicinity
of the spinning
light-show known as Earth
belie discord and
impending darkness even in
the face of beauty
generosity
abundance and truth
🦋⃤♡⃤🌈⃤
What if we shined up our lenses
blew great glittering globes of glass
big enough to encase our
dwindling hearts, minds and
creative forces in magical rising balloons
we would hop into baskets
woven of shimmering force
rising from the painful din
cruising into the mystical dark
🦋⃤♡⃤🌈⃤
Energy collects and pools
from the whole present company
fueling our trip
all will be bonded in
love and unity
in purpose and
prosperity of character
on their infinite trek
through the stars
K.B. Silver
I have posted, and I have a few more pieces to share that came from the 2023 challenge on Medium based on Alice Walker's The Temple of My Familiar, hosted by Pub Arts O' Magazine. It is a publication physically based in Florida, started with the purpose of sharing artist opportunities, specifically artist-in-residence opportunities. I was truly inspired by the daily prompts and am proud to share the work I did that month with you here.
I am not a huge fan of Amazon, as I am sure many of you are not. The above is an affiliate link, but if you prefer, the below link will take you to Bookshop.org, a better place to buy books online. When you shop at bookshop.org you are buying online from a local bookstore.

Rainbows are great lessons. Humanity could be put in a "rainbow timeout" with all the stuff happening on the planet. I will look through your poetic lens and try to see what you see. Thanks for writing and sharing!
