Light Beyond
Beyond Time and Behind Stars

In lines of light that come
From behind the inside-behind of the sun,
Whorls of vibrating patterns
Call this space ‘life’,
Eating from algae growing
On the ocean floor, and finding
Solitary (but not lonesome)
Comfort in the slow flap
Of a butterfly’s wings,
Pushing the rules of physics
To support her flight.
.
This light from beyond is
Also referred to, on this planet,
As ‘unknown’, a mystery only
To some, who allow the wisdom
Of ignorance trump that of
Misinformation.
.
Mysterious, yet deeply familiar —
As the breathing, beating, and pulsing heart,
As leaves that fall in the freeze.
.
What is it that we call ‘snow’?
And why does it tickle so?
What are ‘flowers’ and why do they
Make me smile?
Leave this question that the mind ponders.
Be tickled. Smile.
.
Know, by the heart, that
This illusion of pleasure and pain,
Is all light.
Discern the layers of love
That support your rise,
Like the bird in flight, yes,
And let go of all that
No longer serves you,
If you so choose.
.
Above all…
Love.

I express the realities and frequencies that words are carried on, to speak to the heart in a manner that is simple and free. I've come to ruffle feathers and to polish the sky, to laugh and wonder.

This is some deep stuff. The bit about light being related to life and the unknown is fascinating. It makes me think about how much we still don't understand. And the part about letting go of what doesn't serve us - how do you think one can really do that in practice?
