Lifeline

Never leaving

By Ejiga FaithPublished about a year ago 1 min read

I’m reaching out to your mom and won’t stop until you receive the help you need. I’d rather bear your anger than risk losing you forever. I see the darkness surrounding you, and it’s breaking my heart. I’m begging you—don’t give in to those voices. I’d journey to the ends of the earth, push away the shadows, and light up the path to guide you through.

I’ll pray with every breath and every moment that you find the strength to keep moving forward. You are loved, valued, and worth saving. I’d do anything, even set the world ablaze, if it means protecting you. I know you’re lost in the depths right now, but I’ll be your lifeline, your guiding light in the dark.

When you’re better and the storm has passed, I hope you’ll understand why I did what I did. I hope we can reignite the spark that once shone so brightly between us. For now, I just want you to hold on, to fight, and to live.

I can see the pain in your eyes and the weight of the world pressing down on you. Don’t let it crush you. I’m here, holding on tightly, and I won’t let go. We’ll face this together, and when the sun rises again, its warmth will shine brighter as we stand hand in hand.
