Life.

Life is fast, life is slow

why is it that,

whatever its is

I am angry unsatisfied,

when it's moving too fast

and I feel so busy

I am angry

boiling over

at those moving slowly.

When its moving slowly

and I am content with the pace

I feel left behind

helpless,

watching the sands of my life

waste away.

What is the answer

to contentment in pace

of this I'm not sure,

one thing I know

with clarity of heart

that surely helps not

comparison,

comparison is the thief of Joy.

I enjoyed the simplicity of this piece and the internal struggle. I think we all confront this question in our lives and ask why? Time is an enemy to all
