A Elegy

Why dost thou live?

Life is a pointless and meaningless existence

With nothing but deaths humble embrace at the end

Boring, dull life

With no excitement to catch my eye

A true yawn fest, truly

Why can life not be more exciting?

More adventurous?

With death behind every door

Around every corner

With a grand adventure

Leading you to jump off a cliff into the icy water of exhilaration

Instead of the icy water of despair

Life, why do thee exist so?

Why dost thou not give me meaning to continue?

You taunt me

O cruel life!

How I detest thee!

How I wish thou hast never existed

I became a storyteller at a young age, telling stories to my younger cousins. I fell in love with the written word as soon as I could read, and never put down a good book. Stories are one on my passions. It is a passion I hape to chare.
