Never stopping

Disconnected

Our time

My time

Redirected

Armchair warriors

Couch potatoes

Over worrier's

Stir tornadoes

Ride the storm

And chase the thaw

Maintain the course

With no applause

Snakepit, firepit

Backyard parties

Take what you get

All in, zombies

Vicious path

Venomous vipers

Do the math

With half the fighters

Give and take

And pay back double

The noise you make

Just stirs up trouble

Try to rest

But can't sit still

Be my guest

With time to kill

Ain't no time for hesitation

Play the cards

Deal with frustrations

Put down the phone

And cut the lines

Now you're all alone

With no ties to bind

Why we still need to put the devices down now and go outside even just to breathe. The world of online is the world of today.

  • Oof, what a mic drop at the end. Loved it!

  • Wonderfully & creatively told, Kelli. My mind, heart & soul danced through every bit of this.
