Life is woven into the fabric.

**A Tapestry of Loss and Longing**

By Aranna Hasan Delwar Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Life is woven into the fabric.

______By Aranna Hasan Delwar.

It still makes my tongue water when I see it

I still stand in front of the mirror with kajal on my eyes

Guji flowers are still blooming

In the spring, I dress in a new way

Only you are not found on the side.

I couldn't be someone's lover even today

No one calls by any new name

Nobody reads poetry in the half-light of the evening,

A lot of confusion surrounds me

Sadness has taken away the beautiful moments.

After you are gone, I cherish the emptiness in my heart

Life is like a plastered wall

It lost its color after you left

I am alive, as the Char Jaga river lives.
