Life Is Worth Living

Thank you for holding on. Your fight has not gone unnoticed.

Lord, Your magnificence never ceases to amaze.

You own every breath I breathe

and every song I sing in praise

Belongs to You.

...

Who are You? How are You this great?

How is it that You formed me,

knowing my good and bad sides,

and out of Your love for me,

You still wove me into existence?

...

Yet, because of who You are,

I give You glory.

Your existence gives me value.

Yes, because I am loved and wanted by You,

I have value.

...

I used to think that life was cruel

and death was peace,

but death is not the escape

I thought it would be.

And life is so wonderful that

You would give it for all eternity.

...

You make my life worth living.

Thank You, Lord,

For You are good; You are faithful.

...

Life is worth living because love is real.

Goodness is not just a figment of our imagination.

Kindness is an applicable principle; not just an ideal.

Hope is tangible and outlives all of us.

Despair only lasts for a season,

even though it feels like we may drown in it.

In the eyes of a stranger, I have seen that we are alive.

So, I have to wonder if, in our lament,

we throw away a piece of ourselves we never met.

I pray that in your sad times, you remember to cry,

knowing that joy comes in the morning.

I pray that in your happy times, you celebrate,

for the time will come for mourning.

I love you and I hope you live on.

Thank you, friend, for reading.
